We are located very close to the Salatrucu village, north-west of Curtea de Arges in the Arges County. You can reach us by car (about 2 hours from Bucharest, or 20 minutes from Curtea de Arges). Many trains arrive in Curtea de Arges (e.g. at least 3 daily trains from Bucharest, the trip lasts 2h25).

In the Google Earth screenshot below, you can see Salatrucu (the white rectangle). North of the medieval city of Curtea de Arges lies lake Vidrerul; they are joined by the Transfagaras "highway", which climbs all the way to mountain lake Balea. At the southern limit of the lake, you will find the Poienari Citadel (the "real" Dracula Castle); it is about 15 km away from us. By car, from Salatrucu, you would have to go back almost to Curtea de Arges, and then go north again to the citadel. However, on horseback, the castle is very close!

Immediately to the west of Salatrucu, lies the Cozia National Park (less than 10 km away); it continues further than Brezoi. Finally, further up north, lies the Fagaras mountain range, its many lakes, and peak Moldoveanu (2544m, the highest point of Romania)
